| NBC has promoted its site strategy in line with the overseas expansion of Japanese automotive makers. NBC is gaining high praise by providing quality and service at its overseas sites just as it does in Japan, based on the social trust it has built through Japanese operations. NBC established a joint venture in South Korea in 1990, and 100% subsidiary company in Thailand in 1998. In China, the largest market in the world, NBC has set up local production companies in Guangzhou, Changchun, Tianjin, Wuhan and Nanking, through the partnership with the local production company it established in Taiwan in 1995. In 2005, NBC opened a sales site in Shanghai, and established a system for the total management of its group companies. Based on this business model, the Company is promoting the establishment of a powerful business network covering the entire Southeast Asia, India, Turkey, Pakistan, Australia and other countries, to expand its sales step by step. |

NBC has established a specialized R&D company in Lancing (USA), and promotes joint global research activities with Nippon Paint (NBC's parent company), which provide excellent know-how, as well as other research institutions.
